Mating Habits of Tigers
The female Tiger comes into heat at about 2 1/2 years of age but sexual maturity doesn't happen until she is 3-4 years of age.
She is either pregnant or raising cubs
for the next 15 years. She will enter heat throughout the year.
The female Tiger attracts the male by scent markings, moaning and roaring.
The male Tiger reaches sexual maturity at 4-5 years of age.
