Big Cats in Pennsylvania
Founded in 1924, Elmwood Park currently houses approximately 300 animals native to North America. It places a high emphasis on education and features many programs for learners of all ages.

Located in Philadelphia's historic Fairmount Park is the exhibit 'First Niagara Big Cat Falls,' a naturalistic habitat that has waterfalls and overhead tunnels in which big cats prowl. Big cats in this exhibit include Snow Leopards, Amur Leopards, Puma, Lions, Amur Tigers and a black Jaguar. Cheetahs are housed in a separate exhibit.
