Big Cats in Missouri


Established in 1922, Dickerson Park is currently home to more than 150 species of animals. It has many exhibits featuring big cats from around the world displayed in natural habitats.

Saint Louis features a number of animal exhibits, events and educational programs. It has been a leader in Cheetah research and captive breeding since 1974 with a goal of educating the public on the Cheetah with an emphasis on survival of the big cat.

Located in Swope Park on 202 acres, this Big Cat site is home to more than 1,000 animals. It features several exhibits, including Tiger Trail and African Plains, both which display big cats.
