Big Cats in Maine
The Maine Wildlife Park, located in southern Maine, is home to many species of animals that are native to the area. Most of the animals here are there because they have been injured, orphaned or had become human dependent. The park has three species of big cats that make their home in the state on display.

York's Wild Kingdom is located in central Maine in York Beach. It is on 25 acres that have been set aside for the preservation of ecology. It has over 75 animal exhibits, including displays of lions and tigers.
