Big Cats in Georgia


One of two accredited big cat enclosures in the state of Georgia, Chehaw has over 700 acres dedicated to preservation, conservation an education. Designed by Jim Fowler, a native of Alabany, Georgia, it is well-known for the spaciousness it provides to the animals.

Located in Pine Mountain, GA, Wild Animal Safari offers visitors the chance to ride through the park by car or in a guided tour bus to get up close to hundreds of exotic animals from six continents. The park features a “Liger,” which is a cross between a male lion and a female tiger.
