The largest Lion?

The largest Lion was a subspecies called the Barbary Lion. It had a long black mane going down it's shoulders and back extending to its underbelly. It lived in northern Africa, Morocco and Egypt.

In size it weighed over 500 pounds and over 11 feet in length. Due to man's killing of this beautiful animal it is now officially declared extinct.
